Huawei — extensive live verification
Huawei is the reference implementation, with extensive live verification for inventory, monitoring and provisioning workflows. Validate your exact model, firmware, permissions and intended service profile before production changes.
HIOSO HA7304 — verified reads and selected writes
Live verification covers reads and selected write operations. Automated ONU add/delete provisioning and full configuration management are not advertised as supported capabilities for this driver.
VSOL GPON V1600G1-R — partial live verification
This GPON driver was partially live-verified on 10 September 2026, including SSH connectivity. Monitoring and data retrieval remain partial. Telnet availability in the driver is not the same as live verification; VSOL EPON has a separate, less-verified driver.
ZTE and Nokia — documented, pilot required
These drivers have documentation-backed implementations, but that is not equivalent to end-to-end live verification on your equipment. Arrange a model-specific pilot before relying on inventory, configuration or provisioning operations.
FiberHome — identification only
The current FiberHome driver is a basic SNMP identity stub. Full CLI management, ONT provisioning and operational monitoring are not supported claims. Do not select it expecting feature parity with Huawei.
